Dr. Chen received Her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Southern California in 1992. She completed both her internship and residency at UCLA-San Fernando Valley’s Internal Medicine Program. While completing this program, she served at the Sepulveda VA Medical Center and the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. During her residency program, Dr. Chen received the Most Humanistic Resident Award and the Preferred Physician Provider Award.

Dr. Chen is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
