Dr. Dekkers was awarded his Doctorate of Medicine from the University Autonomus of Guadalajara Medical School in 1981. He served his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Southern California and in Internal Medicine at White Memorial Center of Los Angeles. Dr. Dekkers served his internship in Pediatrics at the University of Southern California and a Flexible Internship at Loma Vista University School of Medicine.

Dr. Dekkers is Board Certified by the American Boards of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He is affiliated with Santa Paula Memorial Hospital, Community Memorial Hospital, Ventura County Medical Center and St. John’s Medical Center.
