Dr. Deutsch received his Doctorate of Medicine from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois in 1977. He completed his internship and his residency in Primary Care at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was Chief Resident.

In 1980 he was Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Deutsch has also served as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at UCLA’s Ventura County Medical Center and as a laboratory instructor at Washington University’s Department of Microbiology.

He is on the staff of Santa Paula Memorial Hospital, Community Memorial Hospital and Ventura County Medical Center.
