Dr. Larsen received his B.S. degree in Biochemistry at Michigan State University where he also received his M.S. in Pharmacology. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Washington in 1971.

He completed his internship at Butterworth Hospital, affiliated with Michigan State University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Larsen completed the Family Practice Residency Program at Ventura County General Hospital.

Dr. Larsen is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is also a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the California Medical Association.

He is on the staff of Community Memorial Hospital, Ventura County Medical Center and Santa Paula Memorial Hospital.
